It is obvious
that each card, which came out, changes the pack composition, that
is it influences on combinations, which appear with more or less
probability.
In order to know the pack composition it’s
not necessary to count all cards, which came out in blackjack. It’s
impossible to do. The basic systems of cards counting divide the
pack into cards which are profitable to player and those ones which
are advantageous to onlinle casino. There are a lot of differences
in systems, but the scheme is the same.
In the system of cards counting by Stanford Vong
(some sources give the authorship to Harway Dubner) “High-Low”,
the pack (shoe) is divided into cards which are profitable to player
– 10, Jack, Queen, King, Ace; and those ones which are advantageous
to casino – 2,3,4,5,6. There is equal number of both types
in the pack. In the beginning of the game the score is 0. When the
card which is profitable to player came out, we should subtract
1 out of score. When the card which is profitable to casino came
out, we should add 1. Cards 7, 8, 9 are not counted.
For example:
| Cards came out |
6 |
10 |
Jack |
3 |
3 |
10 |
9 |
5 |
| Count |
+1 |
-1 |
-1 |
+1 |
+1 |
-1 |
0 |
+1 |
Total general score will be: +1-1-1+1+1-1+0+1
= +1
It’s important to be able to distinguish
between main score and true score.
Counting cards by system “High-Low”,
we’ve got the information about main score and it’s
rather important. But, on no account one cannot lean on this data
playing game with some packs. The true score is important while
playing game with some packs.
In order to determine true score, it is necessary
to divide main score by the number of packs, which are left in the
“shoe”. The number of packs one can determine visually
or program Lazy BlackJack in online casino can do it.
If true score = +2, it makes sense to increase
your bet a little, and, on the contrary, it is recommended to make
minimum bets, having negative score.
